Unleash your passion for impact with Mike, Jacksonville's nonprofit virtuoso! Spearheading his second trailblazing venture, he's a beacon of support for the local running community—inspiring with cheers heard from miles away. Founder of the pulse-racing Sombrero Running Events and a dedicated in-home physical therapist by day, Mike embodies the spirit of connection. Spot him around? Say hello! He's never encountered a stranger, just friends he hasn't met yet.
The man behind the curtain, Russell, is the one who masterfully translates Mike's ambitious visions into tangible successes. While he may prefer to operate behind the scenes, his expertise as a certified project manager and marketer ensures he's often pulled into the spotlight. His passion for helping others is a driving force, demonstrated by his active involvement with numerous nonprofit boards.
When the board's ideas get big, Steve ensures they're grounded in fiscal reality. He’s known for being tight with the wallet, but it's his strategic financial discipline—honed over decades of leadership in the United States Navy Exchange System—that allows the team to do a lot with a little. When he's not busy making every dollar count, he's creating masterful, one-of-a-kind awards for trail races.
